Thanks to its beauty and uniqueness, in 2015 Peñíscola was chosen to film some scenes of the famous series Games of Thrones. We must not forget that in 1972, because of its old town and its history, this city was also declared a Historic Conservation Area. In addition to its old town, which you can discover through its narrow streets, the beach and the sea of Peñíscola will enchant you, along with the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the city that you can admire from the castle, a 14th century castle-fortress that rises 64 metres above the blue sea.
